G’day, I am Ken McDonald, a singer songwriter who has been writing songs for over 40 years. I started recording albums for fun about 10 years ago. I have completed five albums, some with the help of family and friends.

On the 5th album “Curious Dilemmas” We call ourselves ‘The Blue Waves’.

My fourth album “Fire after Flood” by ‘Ken McDonald and The Billion Raindrop Band’, with 17 tracks has “The North Wind” a poem my brother Laurie wrote. Maca has been playing it on ‘Australia All Over’. I wrote a musical underlay and sing a refrain mixed in with Laurie’s poem. People have been ringing the ABC so my wife Heather said, “You have to get a web site!” … so here it is!

I appreciate the interest in the music and poem. Music has has been a pleasure activity of mine for along time now. It is satisfying that other people also gain some pleasure by listening.
